US Soccer Federation Player Development Initiative

The U.S. Soccer Federation released a presentation on its Player Development Initiatives, designed to be “a resource for parents, coaches and referees supporting the growth and improvement of grassroots soccer.” The presentation includes topics about birth-year registration, small-sided games, 4v4, 7v7 and 9v9. The New Hyde Park Wildcats Intramural program adopted the birth-year guidelines in the Spring of 2016, but all remaining changes will be adopted in the Fall of 2016. We strongly encourage all our to review the presentation in its entirety.
