NHP U12 Lions Roar With A Halloween Win

11/12/2015

The boys U12 NHP Lions took another win this Saturday, October 31 putting them in 2nd place in their division against the Great Neck White Bombers.  The boys defeated the bombers  2-1 with goals scored by Brendon Coogan and Matthew Spagnolo.  Many shots were put on goal and excellent ball skills were demonstrated by offenders Stephen Lopez and Mayur Talele.   Successful mid-fielding was done keeping the ball upfield by Julian Wasiluk, Jacob Miller, Jesse Ryan and Aidan Donohue. Unbelievable defense was demonstrated by Thomas Delloiacono, Luke Gruosso, Simon Papavangeli and Asim as they continuously stopped Great Neck from attempting shots on goal and sending the ball upfield. Lastly, spotlight on Zack Montalbano who shined in goal.   This win would not have been possible without his excellent goalkeeping.  The coaches, trainer, managers and parents are so proud of these boys.
