Junior Coaching Program
We are seeking current High School (U16-U20) age players to participate in our Junior Coaching Program. This is the perfect opportunity to for these players to complete community service requirements, learn the coaching trade, and work with the youth in the NHP Wildcats community.
Objective:
The Junior Coaching Program is designed to identify and nurture soccer players who demonstrate the desired skills for coaching by providing them the opportunity to gain experience coaching younger teams.

The Junior Coaching Program for current and former NHP Wildcat SC athletes is aimed at targeting the rich source of potential coaches within our club, and developing new mentor coach positions to attract these coaches of the future. The program matches a Junior Coach with a younger team and coach. The program is structured to meet the needs of the Junior Coach, the paired [adult] coach, and the team. Junior Coaches will be required to complete their USSF F license.

- To provide our younger teams with player role models and to establish mentoring experiences
- To assist our adult volunteer coaches by pairing them Junior Coaches who are responsible and knowledgeable of the game

Eligibility:
- Young adults interested in coaching soccer, preference will be given to current and former NHP Wildcats SC players who are over the age of 14 (U16+) and under the age of 21.
- A player who demonstrates the desired skills for coaching / mentoring and the aptitude to be role model for younger players
- A player who is willing to make time commitments to take part in team practices and games as mutually agreed, while still keeping their playing commitments (our U6 program has games at noon on Saturdays)
- A player who is willing to complete their USSF F license
- A player who agrees to provide program evaluation feedback
- A recommendation from a current or former coach or trainer
